  • Led the creation and implementation of entire food safety and quality management system and processes
  • Completed successful SQF Level 2 certification within first year of operations and maintained equally successful SQF re-certification. All private label business (majority of company revenue) is dependent on SQF certification
  • Responsible for all audits (customer, regulatory); customer complaints; corrective action and root cause analysis
  • Managed product verification through The Non-GMO Project enabling the company to acquire 12 different product lines with two separate customers
  • Obtained organic and gluten-free certification through QAI and GFCO, respectively. These certifications were crucial in the company’s process to win co-packing bids
  • Responsible for personnel management of the Quality Department and quality/food safety training for the entire company
